Electret condenser microphone (cardioid) for vocals
The TG V56 offers many possibilities for vocals on stages, studio and in rehearsal rooms.
With the fine resolution typical of condenser microphones, it is suitable for a huge variety of requirements. It covers an extremely wide pick-up range due to its cardioid polar pattern, thereby giving flexibility for a wide range of vocal types and music genres.
The subtle treble boost of the TG V56 ensures a very transparent signal and the high-quality decoupling of the capsule minimises handling noises.
- Treble resonator for an open, transparent sound pattern
- Special sound holes for a frequency independent cardioid polar pattern
- Cardioid polar pattern
- Built-in lowcut filter
- Internal shock mount reduces handling noise
- Rugged construction
- 12 - 48 V phantom powering

Performance and Recommendation
Beyerdynamic TG V56 is among highest rated condenser cardioid microphone, specially designed keeping vocalists in mind.
The TG V56 has been specially developed to mike up song and speech. Using the clip included in delivery, the microphone can be mounted on microphone stands with a 3/8" or 5/8" thread adapter.
The TG V56 requires phantom power of between 12 and 48 V for operation. It can be plugged into any symmetrical microphone port which provides this voltage
It also has a cardioid polar pattern and transmits very little feedback. In order to maximise feedback suppression, the microphone should be positioned in such a way that the monitor speakers are aimed at the microphone laterally from behind (angle approx. 180˚)
The TG V56 also features an integrated pop screen. To avoid popping noises, the microphone should be positioned below the mouth at a slight angle, so that you can speak or sing just over the microphone
We highly recommend Beyerdynamic TG V56 for Stage and Studio vocals.
